Bonnie Thornton

Family to hold a Memorial Service at a later date.

Mrs. Thornton passed away at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. on October 22, 2025.

Mrs. Bonnie Thornton was born and raised in Walnut Grove, MS to Thomas Lee and Dorothy Williams. She attended South Leake Schools. Bonnie was a lifelong homemaker and took great pleasure in raising her children. She loved playing games on her phone especially Monopoly. She loved watching crime stories on tv, shopping, and butterflies. Bonnie attended Laurel Hill Baptist Church and Freetrade Church of God. Bonnie dearly loved her husband immensely, her children, and grandchildren, they were her world. She was loved by so many and will be surely missed.

Survivors include husband of 28 years Bryan Earl Thornton of Madden, MS, daughters; Amberly Ward (Tommy), Brenda Sue Chamblee, Emily Thornton, Kari Coleman (Austin) all of Madden, MS, Shirley Thornton of Bailey, MS, and Brandy Kittrell, 11 grandchildren, brothers; Thomas Lee Williams Jr. and Stephen Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Lee and Dorothy Williams.
