Charles Earl Burbridge passed away at St. Dominic's Hospital on March 7, 2026.

Charles “Earl” Burbridge was born and raised in Iowa to Charles Russell and Anna Marie Burbridge. He was a graduate of Prairie Valley High School in Gowrie, Iowa and a graduate of Iowa Central Community College. He loved to read, write and he was a trivia buff. He was also involved in DnD gaming and he was a judge for magic competitions on several occasions.. Charles was a spiritual person; he charted his own course. He was loved by his many friends and family and will be missed by all.

Survivors include by his life partner; Melissa Maxwell of Philadelphia, MS, daughters; Kimberly Burbridge Sherman (Josh), Nichole Burbridge, CharliAnn Burbridge (Andy) all of Iowa, sister-in-law; Rachel Burbridge, nephew; Isaac Burbridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles Russell and Anna Marie Burbridge, brother; James Robert Burbridge.
