He was a devoted member of First Pentecostal Church and a dedicated employee of Georgia-Pacific, where he worked for more than 40 years. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family.

Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a love for playing the piano and guitar, riding motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with his family. His family was truly the center of his life, and he cherished the memories they made together.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Geneva Williamson, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, memories, and family. He is also survived by his daughter, Tawanna Pierce (Doug); grandchildren, Destini Flake (Taylor) and Laiklon Williams (Camrie); great-grandchildren, Mamie James, Micah James, and Wilder Lei; siblings, MaryAnn Hardy (Billy) and Audrey Stewart; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, devotion to his family, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
