Funeral Services for Wanna Fay Agent Wolverton will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with her grandson Bro. Corbin Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Longino Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Wanna Fay Agent Wolverton, 89, passed away on March 26, 2026 at the Neshoba General Nursing Home.
Fay was born in Neshoba County on October 27, 1936, to Cecil Brooks and Luna Cates Agent.
Fay attended Arlington School and graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1954. On December 27, 1956, she married Harold Wolverton from Union. Together they made their home in Neshoba County their entire marriage where they raised their children, Lisa and Jim.
Fay was a longtime member of Longino Baptist Church. She served her church faithfully as long as she was able. She was the Sunday School Secretary and on the hostess committee among other positions.
Fay worked as a dental assistant for Dr. R.A. Posey, Sr. for 16 years, then she worked at D&W Tire Shop for 34 years as a Book-keeper.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. and Luna Agent; husband, Harold Wolverton; son, Jim Wolverton; siblings, Cecil Agent (Joyce) and Lenora Brown (Henry); infant brother, Norman Dwight Agent.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Jenkins (Boyd) of Carthage; three grandsons, Corbin Jenkins (Reaghan) of Madden, Cody Jenkins of Carthage and Dylan Hitt (Vivian) of Jackson; two great-grandsons, Chasen Jenkins and Jay Hitt; sisters, Diane Clark (Lamar) of Union, Janie Nowell (Joe) of Philadelphia and Linda Gully of DeKalb; brothers, Doyle Agent of Philadelphia and Rudolph Agent (Ophelia) of Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families.
