Ferron Ross Oaks

A Memorial Service for Ferron Ross Oaks will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1 pm from the Church of Jesus Christ and the  Latter-Day Saints, President Justin Pfeifer will officiate.

Ferron Ross Oaks, 83, of Philadelphia, MS passed away on November 29, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Ferron was born on November 21, 1942 in Vernal, Utah to V. Leroy Oaks and Rozena Ann Nelson. He was a proud member of Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-Day Saints.

Ferron was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mae Smith Oaks, his parents, his brother Hyrum, and his sisters Annette, Charlene, and Elaine.

Ferron is survived by his brother Harold (Ima Jean) Oaks; daughter, Roxanne (Larry) Child; grandchildren, Amber (Johnny) Stuckman, Adam Ward, Ashley Ward, and Austin Child; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as many close friends who he loved very much.

Special thanks to Accent Care Hospice, his aide Angie and his nurse Ashley for all the help and exceptional care in his final days.
