Funeral Services for Frankie Lynn Davis will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. David Richardson and Bro. Hank Pilgrim officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis, 78, of Philadelphia, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Frankie was born and raised in Crystal Springs and made Philadelphia his home for the last few years. He spent most of his life as a truck driver before serving as a supervisor at B&G Wood Works, where he was respected by all who worked with him. Mr. Davis was a member of Deemer Church of Jesus Name and he loved his church family and served others with a joyful spirit. He was known for his loyalty, kindness, strong faith and his simple joys. He was proud of his Alabama Crimson Tide-----Roll Tide!
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Janette; a proud father to Vickey, Randy, Kelly and Charley, and stepfather to Jean Richardson and Rudy Kemp; his legacy continues through his grandchildren, Shana, Samuel, Maggie, Harper, Isaac, Azelin, Ezekiel, Grace, Isabelle, Elijah and Danielle.
