Geraldine Williams

Services for Geraldine Williams will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2 p. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Jim Porter, Rev. Lawrence Runnels and Bro. Sid Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.    Mrs. Williams, 79, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.  She was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia.  She retired from Allied Enterprises and worked as bookkeeper at Williams Brothers for many years.  Mrs. Williams was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School secretary for several years. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and their families; former son-in-law, Stephen Duran (Stacy) of Atlanta, GA, and their daughter Lily; and her extended family and friends at Williams Brothers.  Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Renee Duran; parents, James “Jim” and Betty S. Hall; sisters, Audie Mae Turner, Gertrude Porter and Sudie Beth McArthur; brothers, Felbert Hall, Irvin Hall, Cecil Hall, Clayton Hall and L. C. Hall.
