Graveside service for Henry Myatt will be held Monday, August 24, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. from Cooks Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County with Bro. Greg and Pam Smith officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Myatt, 82, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, August 22, 2020, in his home surrounded by his family. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and was retired from Marshall Durbin. He loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Myatt attended the Church of Philadelphia. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Myatt of Philadelphia; daughters, Denise (Tommy) Perry of Fort Worth, TX, Andrea (Michael) Monsour of Brandon, and Leaha (Brant) Winstead of Philadelphia; one son, Phillip Myatt of DeKalb; grandchildren, Cecilly Monsour, Erin Monsour, Riley Winstead, Eli Winstead, and Anna Claire Myatt; sisters, Nell Myatt, Neva Killen, and Lyla Adcock, all of Philadelphia; brother, Felton Myatt of Philadelphia; a host of nieces and nephews, and their families. Mr. Myatt was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Tommie Myatt; grandson, Hayden Myatt; and brother, Dan Myatt. Pallbearers are Tommy Perry, Michael Monsour, Brant Winstead, Riley Winstead, Eli Winstead, Wayne Beckham, Ricky Beckham and Michael Killen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
