Mrs. Slay, 74, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Neshoba General Nursing Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. She was a native of Leake County and was a resident of Neshoba County for the last 15 years. Survivors include daughter, Djuna Staats ; son, David (Ruth) Thames, all of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Brodie Thames, Lauren Dickenson, Blake Thames, Skky Herndon and Hunter Glass; one great-grandchild, Emet Dickenson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
