Jerry Wayne Bell

A memorial service for Jerry Wayne Bell will be held at a later date. Mr. Bell, 59, of Winston County, died Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. A native of Thomasville, AL, he was a resident of Winston County for 33 years. He was a former worker on riverboats and tugboats. Mr. Bell was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Annette Bell of Nanih Waiya; sons, Dennis Bell of Nanih Waiya and Hank Bell (Shannon) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Aspen and Elizabeth Bell; mother, Marie (Raymond) Newton of Thomasville, AL; father, Ernest (Dot) Bell of Greenwood, AL; sisters, Damita Bell Davis (Dwight) of Pine Hill, AL, Amanda Bell (Mike) Smathers of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Ronald Parsons (Hyong) of Dover, DE; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by sister, Susan Bell Belchen; and brother, Donald Parsons. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
