Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Keith Guy officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time on Thursday.
A lifelong resident of Preston, MS, Mr. Goodin was a retired lineman and a social man of the community. He loved spending time with his family, telling stories, had a kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family. Survivors include daughter, Melissa (Joe) Watrous of Ocean Springs, MS, son Jr (Pam) Goodin of Preston, MS, bonus sons Ricky (De-Lesa) Adams of Nanih Waiya, MS, Jason (Freda) Adams of Noxapater, MS. Five grandchildren Kristen McGee, Kelley Hussey, Seth McGee of Ocean Springs, MS, Dasha Goodin of Nanih Waiya, MS, Tayler Goodin of Preston, MS. Four bonus grandchildren, Austin Adams, Jeremy Adams of Philadelphia, MS, Ethan and Maizee Adams of Nanih Waiya, MS. Nine great grandchildren, Aubrey Spear, Kennedy and Lane Hussey, Kyle Goodin, Alayah and Micheal Peebles, Gavin, Kaden and Kaylee Windham; sister Elowease Sullivan. Preceding Mr. Goodin in death were his wife Betty Adams; son Scottie Goodin; parents Webb and Lizzie Goodin; sisters Virgie Tucker, Dorothy Picardi, Doris Culberson, Bobbie Robertson; brothers Wilbur Goodin, Benford Goodin, Roy Goodin and Clarence Goodin.
