Jimmie Luke

Services for Jimmie Luke will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating.  Burial will follow in Longino Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Mr.Luke, 82, died Thursday, January 24, 2019.   He was a native and lifelong resident of Burnside Community of Neshoba County.  He served in The United States Air Force.  Mr. Luke was Baptist by faith.   Survivors include his daughters, Billie Jean Bishop and Betty L. Dashley of Philadelphia; son, Willie Marvin Luke of Philadelphia; Nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Luke of Philadelphia.   Preceded in death by his parents, Will and Clara Luke; brothers, James and Buster Luke; sister, Margaret Burt.
