Judy Ferguson

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2026 from McClain-Hays Chapel with the burial to follow in the Coy Community Cemetery. Sister Becky Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 7-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at McClain-Hays.

Mrs. Ferguson, 74, died on Friday, August 28, 2026 at her residence.

Judy was a native and longtime resident of Winston County. She graduated high from Nanih Waiya High School. She worked various jobs through out her life and was also owner and operator along with her late husband of their poultry farm.

Judy enjoyed fishing when she got a chance but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her grandson, and was excited about having another grandbaby on the way.

She was a member of Coye Assembly of God Church in Preston.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Ferguson and Ricky (Cierra) Ferguson; grandson, Noah Ferguson; step-mother, Laura Roberson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Ferguson, parents, Edward and Bonnie Roberson.
