Funeral services for Kim T. Killen will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. from Pine Grove Baptist Church, Union, MS with Bro. Rusty Walton and Bro. Lin Chesney officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Kim T. Killen went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Neshoba County Nursing Home, from pneumonia.
Kim was born in Jackson, MS on June 17, 1955, the second child of Paul and Ester Kirkland Killen. He attended elementary school at Ed Mayo in Moss Point and finished his high school years in Union High School in 1973. While attending ECCC, Kim was a charter member of the first ever Collegians group. He then went to USM and following attendance there, began working in the family business, Philadelphia Sheet Metal Works in 1977 and stayed there until 2012, at which time he retired due to health issues. Mr. Killen was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in House, MS for 58 years, and took an active role in the musical program through the years. He was also a member of several gospel singing groups, some of which were, Living Faith, The Master’s IV, The Believers, The Foundations and The Seekers. Kim had a winning personality and was loved by many who knew him.
Survivors include his brother, Delton (Gayle Howle) Killen; sister, Regina Killen (Ricky) Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Killen was preceded in death his parents, Paul and Ester Killen.
Pallbearers will be, Tim Cleveland, Paul Cleveland, Brad Killen, Thomas Knight, Joseph Knight and Dustin Mott.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Thomas Henry, Randy Staton, Bobby Thrash, Max Loper and Ronny White.
The family extends a special thank you to his caregivers, during his later years, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home, especially Raven Bane, Becky Creel, Sarah Coleman, Melanie Smith, Sherry Rogers, Tabitha McGee and Kaelyn James.
