Lisa Clay Stamper

A memorial service for Lisa Clay Stamper will be held by family at a later date. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stamper, 53, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Born in Neshoba County, she lived most of her life in Decatur, MS. She graduated from Decatur High School and she was a graduate of ECJC Cosmetology School. Lisa worked in the cosmetology field for several years, as well as ATT and Pearl River Resort. She truly loved animals and she was a people person, didn’t meet a stranger. She was a member of Decatur Methodist Church and attended Antioch Southern Methodist. Lisa dearly loved her family. Survivors include her son, Chase (Alyssa) Stamper; mother, Thelma Jones; brother, Bob Willard Clay; several nieces and nephews and their families. Mrs. Stamper was preceded in death by her father, Willard Alvin Clay.
