 Funeral Service for Luke Welborn will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm from McClain-Hays Chapel.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 11:00 am until service time at McClain-Hays.

Luke Welborn of the Dixon community of Neshoba County passed away on June 30, 2026, at his residence.

A longtime resident of Neshoba County, Luke graduated from Noxapater Attendance Center in 2022.

Afterward, he attended Jones Community College and earned his welding certification.

Luke enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, singing, spending time at the shop with his dad (Curt), and going shopping with his mom. Above all, he cherished every moment with his beloved son, Rowen.

He is survived by his son; Rowen, his parents; Curt and Melanie Maxey, Gabriel and Christy Welborn, brothers; Chevy, Landon, Issac Welborn, and Tristan Welborn, sisters; Natalie Castro, Sami Welborn, and Lauren Garner, maternal grandparents; Glenn and Shirley Hopper; paternal grandparents; Jackie and Thomas Maxey, great-grandmother; Ruby Rineheart, domestic partner; Claire Copes and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
