Margie Jones

Services for Margie Jones will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mark Cloys and Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Weir, MS. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jones, 91, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. A native of Wharton, TX, and former resident of Weir, MS, she moved to Philadelphia in 1991. She formerly worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Mrs. Jones was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Harold Jones of Louisville, Ronnie Jones (Michele) of Philadelphia, and Steve Jones (Cyndy) of Granbury, TX; grandchildren, Elisabeth Jones, Brandon Jones, Dustin Floyd, Justin Jones, Stephanie Bolton, Brandi Jones, and Kelli Jones; nine great-grandchildren; and two nieces. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by husband, Rex Jones; sister, Joyce Campbell; and brother, Kenneth Pickett. Pallbearers are Brandon Jones, Justin Jones, Dustin Floyd, Keith Gaines, Chuck Burke, and Tyrone Smith.
