Mark Wright

Funeral Services for Mark Wright will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 12 noon from Coye Assembly Church of God with Bro. Lawrence Pool and Bro. Justin Bradley officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wright, 67, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Mr. Mark was born in Philadelphia and attended West Kemper High School in DeKalb, MS. He was employed at Pearl River Resort Casino as a dealer for 29 years. He loved horse back riding, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristy Wright Majure; grandchildren, Rileigh Majure, Paisley Majure and Kaydence Alford; sisters, Jerry Nell DuBard and Marsha Geoghagan (Tom); brother, Danny Wright (Tina).

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by parents, Delmon Louis Wright and Nancy Jones Wright; son, Adam Mark Wright; sister, Delva Jean Eastman; brothers, Barry, Ted and Donnie Wright.

Pallbearers: Scott Wright, Phillip Wright, Chad Wright, Ethan Wright, Cooper Wright and Eric Majure.
