Mary Ann Smith

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Ann Smith will be held from Antioch Baptist Church at 11:30 am, on Thursday, May 29th,2025. Bro. Joel Embry will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time at the church.

Ms. Mary was born in the House community of Neshoba County. She attended House School. She was married to the love of her life Carlton Smith for 50 plus years and they owned and operated CS Smith Grocery together. She loved to quilt, and her flowers. Mary Ann was a long time member of Antioch Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. She dearly loved her family and friends, and will be missed by all.

Mrs. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Richard W. Smith (Wilma) of Collinsville; daughter-in-law, Tammy Smith; grandchildren, Emily Sandberg (Carl), Shannon Cain (Kevin), Richard Smith (Samantha), Nicky Smith, Christopher Smith (Stephanie); seven great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Joyner and James Joyner.

Mrs. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlton C. Smith; son, Larry Smith; sister, Jeanette Wall.

Pallbearers are: Carl Sandberg, Reed Sandberg, Ryan Sandberg, Drew Sandberg, Richard Smith, and Kevin Cain.
