Michael B. "Mike" Crawford

Graveside Services for Mike Crawford will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 2:30 pm from Sandtown Cemetery with Brad Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

Michael Byron “Mike” Crawford, 75, was born on May 23, 1951 and passed away on August 4, 2026 at his home.

Our beloved Father, Pop, Brother, Uncle and Friend passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willard and Ola Mae Gamblin Crawford, and his brothers Eric, Gary, Don and Tony Crawford.

Mike lived on his old family home place in the Sandtown community. He was a standout athlete in high school, playing basketball and running on the track team. Mike was a hard working man who grew up helping on his family farm, then went on to work for Yates Construction. Mike later worked for Roadway in Meridian for over two decades, the place from which he ultimately retired. Mike spent his retired years keeping up his home and doing what he enjoyed most: attending his grandchildren’s games and functions, or picking them up from school. He was always there to support his family in every way he could.

Mike is survived by his children; Nikki Hudnall, Carla Adams and Brad Crawford (Krista), sister; Donna June Anthony, grandchildren; Will and Ivy Baucum, Caroline Hudnall, Lundy and Ben Glover, Ella Adams, Camryn Crawford, Aubrey and Aidan Everett, great grandchildren; Georgia Raye Baucum and Carter Wayne Glover.

He will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Will Baucum, Kevin Beason, Ben Glover, Alec Belvin, Aidan Everett and Anthony Cruz.
