Services for Miss Leisa Renee Sessums will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. James Young and Rev. Mike Truhett officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of service at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Miss Sessums, 51, of Union, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Rush Hospital in Meridian. Miss Leisa was born at Laird Hospital in Union, MS, on October 19, 1966. She was a resident of Hilltop Manor in Union for the past 13 years. Survivors include mother, Jeane Killen of Union in the House community; brother, Dell Sessums of Union in the House community; half-brother, Chris Sessums (Trina) of Hazelhurst; aunts, Barbara Joyner of Seattle, WA and Annie Ruth Ladd of Bay Springs, MS; nephew, Ryan Sessums; and great-aunt, Flora Joyner of Ridgeland. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Sessums; maternal grandparents, Odell and Beatrice Joyner; paternal grandparents, Mertis and Mavis Sessums; uncle, Robert Joyner, Jr.; and several other aunts and uncles. Pallbearers are Edwin Walters, Tommy Joyner, Walley Joyner, Joseph Malone, Danny Bishop, Mike Moorehead and Gary Roebuck.
