Odessa "Mutt" Clark

Services for Odessa “Mutt” Clark will be held Monday, December 23, 2019, at 2:00 p. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mack Alford and Rev. Chris Vowell officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clark, 96, of Philadelphia, died Friday, December 20, 2019, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the Good Hope Community.  Mrs. Clark was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in the Johnsonville Community.  She loved her flowers, garden, and shopping. Survivors include daughters, Sherwin Hodges and Brenda Fletcher, both of Philadelphia; son, Randy (Judy) Clark of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and their families; and extended family, Lynette Moorehead. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by husband, Stanley Clark; grandson, Richie Clark; sisters, Bea Nicholson, Maedell White; and brother, R. O. “Reg” Guthrie. Pallbearers are Don Culpepper, Kevin Warren, Eric Clark, Brandon Clark, Spencer Pierce, and Jonathan Fletcher.
