Randall "Randy" McKee

Randall “Randy” McKee, a beloved lifelong resident of Kemper County, passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2026.

Randy spent his entire life in Kemper County, dedicating his career to the timber industry as a skilled logger.

He found joy in hunting, fishing, gardening and nearly anything outdoors. Randy was also a man of faith, living his life as a devoted Christian.

Randy often said “It is what it is”, a simple phrase that reflected his resilient spirit and outlook on life.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Harbour; as well as a loving extended family of nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Frances McKee; brother, Drexal McKee; sister, Rebecca Higginbotham.
