Syble Shepherd Mcnair

Services for Syble McNair will be held Friday, January 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Mike Skinner officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2019, from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McNair, 85, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 . She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and had lived in Wesson, MS for the past 11 years.  Mrs. McNair was a member of Linwood Baptist Church and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Wesson, MS. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne (Ronny) Spencer of Wesson; sons, Tim McNair of Smyra, TN, and Barry (Vikki) McNair of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Justin Spencer, Julie McKee, Austin and Chase McNair.; six great-grandchildren, Cohen ,Taylor and Macie McKee, Phillip Ross, Avery and Anna Spencer; sisters, Neda Byars and Brenda Sims of Philadelphia; a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Jack” McNair; sister, Vivian Hardy; brothers, Ray and Dwight Shepherd.
