Virginia Ward

Services for Virginia Ward will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018, at 2 p. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Billy James officiating. Burial will follow in Bethsaida Cemetery in Neshoba County.  Visitation will begin Sunday at 1 p.m. until service time.   Mrs. Ward, 83, of Union. died Thursday, August 16, 2018. She was a native of Natchez, Ms.  She spent the early part of her life in Meehan, Ms, and for the past 40 years she has lived in Neshoba County.  Mrs. Ward  was  a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Gambill of Union, and Rebekah Kirk of Gulfport; sons, Johnny Everette (Jimmie Ann) Baggett and Ronald “Ronnie” David (Janet) Baggett, all of Meridian; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ward; son, Earnest Roy Baggett; parents; and sisters. Pallbearers are John Kirk, Theodore (T.J.) Gambill III, Tyler Mabry, Matthew Buckalew and Jesse Withers.
