W. P. "Pace" Herrington

Services for W. P. “Pace” Herrington will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 11:00 a. m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Herrington, 93, of Philadelphia, died Monday, June 24, 2019, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  Mr. Herrington served in the U. S. Army.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Survivors include daughter, Peggy Franks of Philadelphia; grandchild, Stevie Franks (Haley) of Jackson; sister, Mary Ann Touchstone of Meridian; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Herrington; and parents, Hugh Gene and Marti Herrington.
