Zula E. Barrett

  Services for Zula Estelle Barrett will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 12 noon from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Charles Scriviner officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barrett, 95, died Saturday, October 5, 2019. She was a longtime resident of Philadelphia and later resided in Clinton.  While living in Neshoba County she and her husband operated a dairy farm. Mrs. Barrett was a member and former choir member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. She is survived by her daughter, Arvilla Hancock of Clinton; grandchildren, Randy Hancock (Sue) of Brandon, Ricky Hancock (Paula) of Canton, and Renee Hicks (David) of Flowood; seven  great-grandchildren; 12 great- great-grandchildren; numerous cousins and their families. Preceded in death by her husband, Crumpton Barrett; daughter, Darlene Barrett; two sisters.
